I have decided that until Kamen Rider Kiva is finished, and than I will spend the whole day watching it all of it until the whole series is finished!! I honestly can't sit there and wait for each episode to come out each week! It is way to good! ahahaha.
Synopsis
Twenty-two years after the disappearance of his father, Wataru Kurenai (portrayed by Koji Seto) lives in an infamous "haunted house" where he is destined as Kamen Rider Kiva to fight life-draining monsters called Fangires, the very race his father fought years ago before his disappearance. Wataru must also deal with Kamen Rider Ixa who is part of an organization seeking to destroy the Fangire menace. The story is split between the actions of Wataru in the present (2008) and his father Otoya in the past (1986), slowly revealing the link between the Fangire Race and Kiva.

Wow that synopsis is quite revealing but I suppose that it is what you should expect from a Kamen Rider show hehe.
Anyway, I wanted to play around with this program that my camera has in which I forgot that there was such a thing. It actually merges the pictures together and that some pictures fade into the other.

Liu YiFei as Ling Er (灵儿) and Hu Ge as Xiao Yao (逍遥哥哥) in Chinese Paladin 仙剑奇侠传。
I absolutely am a sore bum for this series! So much that is happening and I can't stop letting my emotions get in the way of it. Though it is good to cry ahahaha~
Anyway! I have finally finished watching Chinese Paladin with mum! Whoo! And to be honest, I really thought that it was quite centered on the characters but I guess that with Chinese stories, that is definitely not the case.
Actually, this drama was based off the original game and although there are slight alterations between the originality of the game and the drama, I am disappointed that we still don't know who 李逍遥's (Li Xiao Yao) parents are!! After all that commotion and I was like...huh? It ended...
I feel like selling my series now that I have seen it. Sadly, its not good quality, especially towards the end where the sounds are distorted. That is what you get when you don't know which company you are buying the "dvd" from. Haaa...it makes me want to play the games now!! 4 games in total with the first being known as the Legend of Sword and Fairy (the actual name whereas Chinese paladin is the drama name), in which they are all prequels or sequels released at after the first.
Drama Synopsis
The kingdom of Nan Zhao is brainwashed by the chief of a moon-worshipping cult who forces the King to sentence his Queen to death, claiming that she is a demoness. In reality, the queen is the descendent of Nu Wa, a goddess. The evil chief unleashes a water demon and the queen sacrifices herself to save her people from the demon. Before she sacrifices, she asks Jiu Zui Xian and a masked stranger to bring her daughter and grandmother away.
The present story occurs 10 years after the prologue. Li Xiao Yao is a mischievous orphan who lives with his auntie. His auntie falls sick with an incurable illness which will result in death. 2 mysterious men appeared and told Xiao Yao to travel to a magical land to retrieve an antidote for her that is able to cure any illness. He meets Zhao Ling'er who is the long-lost daughter of Nan Zhao Kingdom's Queen together with her grandmother. Xiao Yao is mystified when Ling'er and her grandmother recognises his name and calls him a saviour.
Following on from there, Xiao Yao tries to retrieve the antidote for his auntie but have to meet certain conditions before he can return home......

The synopsis only covers about half of the 1st episode. Enough said...otherwise I will reveal too much. It is a solid drama where love is the centered theme (love triangles) and not to mention the apprehensive and exhilarating swordfights. Though there were some pretty scary zombie scenes....It is not just a series for females but males can also enjoy this as well since the series documents all of Li Xiao Yao 李逍遥's journey but on the other hand, there are side stories as well which fits into the overall image of the drama.
I encourage you to watch it! It is really compelling.

I am watching Kamen Rider Kiva (2008) at the moment, and I do hope that it will finish soon so that I can watch the rest of the episodes.
MY only criticism is.............that the actors are not really playing the violin!!! AW why can't they choose potential actors who know how to play the violin?? Because the songs are sooo nice yet it has to be fake-played. Sigh....can't stop cringing!

Too bad he can't hold the violin together nor are the notes played correctly (eg. crossing-over to wrong strings). Well....at least his son Wataru can hold the violin properly!
If you really want to know what I mean, you can watch it on youtube. Maa....it is for kids after all...so they wouldn't know the difference. Sigh...
This lovely song to be honest was one of the best ones that I have heard from Arashi! It is so serious and the compelling dance moves really topped it off. Not to mention the instrumental music that moves the whole piece.
Whoo go violins!! hahaha this piece I think, is pretty much different from the ones that Arashi used to sing; especially with the solo singer holding out the melodic line with the others harmonizing in the background with arpeggios....(that was done really well and difficult to accomplish sounding in tune)
The song is actually for the opening of Maou (with Ohno Satoshi in it). meh!!! I want to watch Maou!!!
Anyway, the drama would needed a motivating tune and mysterious parts. Arashi delivered it to the table! The feeling that I got from the music was cool yet sinister, but also sad and crying out in anguish at the same time.
I later on went to find the lyrics and sure enough, the music was filled with such emotions.

The REAL music video of the performance!!!! Cool dancing man! I think that Arashi did a really superb performance by far. It will be interesting to see if they will move from the "pop" repertoire into more emotionally engaging and confident songs singing harmonizing melodies with or against one another. That is what I hope to hear and they may start the trend with this song. Who knows???

Finally finished It started with a kiss!!!!! hahaha I had a few laughs but a lot of cries too!!!
I always have the tendency to skip the boring bits and go into the interesting part of the story which involves the family and the 2 main characters. Not the company!!!!
Here is my own somewhat broken synopsis and my deep thoughts:
The main guy character of the story is Joe Cheng; playing 值樹 (Zhi Shu). The main girl character of the story is Ariel Lin; playing 湘琴 （Xiang Qing)。
I personally think that the reason why there are so many heartbreaks and misunderstandings is because 值樹 can't come into grips with his feelings or how his decisions really affect others. Even though this guy is a genius, many people would know how to relate to him at some point or another. We concentrate too hard on something or we become selfish. In the end, we don't realise what it really is to be loved by someone or to care for someone.
There are always different methods to deal with something. For example (and I hope that my best friends read this but I doubt it), I really use my anger and direct scolding when I really really really care about someone and that I am really close to them.
It is not to say that those who are do not get direct scolding from me aren't close to me. But to have best friends means to have those that will really tolerate you and will understand where you are coming from. I am a musician. Someone pointed out very very quickly that musicians are emotional. Yes they are, you are right. I have never associated the two for a long time.
ANYWAY!!!!! 湘琴 is a really stupid girl and doesn't have the heart to focus on her studies. However, she does have a heart for the people and cares for them endearingly. Terribly in love with the genius, she tries so hard to win his heart. Her ideology and values in life use firmly planted on the ground. She has a strong impression on opening up the "books" again and reviewing it from another angle. This can influence other people's thinking.
In a way, I was putting myself in her shoes and situations. I ended up crying A LOT hahaha. 湘琴 really does persevere in the things that she really wants without giving up when things doesn't come her way. I want to try try and try without giving up. Giving your last SIGH is really giving up upon yourself and I absolutely hate that!! You can give yourself a very big CRY to let everything go but you cannot give yourself a big SIGH.
HAHAHA during thet course of the drama, there were some really really funny parts involving both 湘琴 and 值樹 families. Both are loving, warming & encouraging. The music describes the moods so well! Not only that but the lyrics and the music represents the character or represents the particular scene - sung by Chinese pop stars. I LOVE THE "TING JIAN" (聽見） song sung by Fang Ya Xian!!!
AHHH!!! hahaah going crazy over the music. In any case, Ariel Lin sang the main theme 惡作劇。
TO be honest, you really need to know how the drama's atmosphere will progress. You need to watch a few episodes to see if it is in your favour. I was a little skeptical at first because I felt that it dragged the story. However, most of it was to develop the characters, their feelings, chances and disappointments. I know that if I watched it once a week on tv, I would appreciate it a lot and can't stop talking about it haha.

Thematic Story
The story centralises on a theme that you can distinguish quite well in the beginning. It is war. This movie takes on a science-fiction genre. However, the sole purpose is to depict controversial issues between mankind and the types of sufferings that envelops humans which then turns these sufferings into uncontrollable situations (hope I didn't give too much away, but I just think that it really is something that everyone needs to understand from our own perspective).
Conflicts
In the movie, most of the fighting involves 2 parties. But most of the time, it is the differences from how one thinks that can separate what is right and what is wrong. There is plenty of conflict but most of the issues just cannot be resolved because one does not choose to let it go.
My Application
Mankind is trying to improve lives, develop medicinal treatments to save lives and while we have hardworking doctors as such, we still live in a world full of wars, hatred and endless fighting. Doesn't it hurt?? To know that 2 things such as this contradict each other?
This story really was quite sad for me (well yes because I am pretty much emotional!) and these are one of the movies where you definitely need to watch everything from the beginning to the end to understand the full length of the story.
Special Effects
Firstly, I have to give credit for the way that the film is shot. It is done with 3D characters (meaning people) on a green/blue screen. IN actual fact, before I watched the movie but have seen the preview several times, I honestly thought that the whole movie was 3D and that the Japanese really have taken 3D imaging to the next level. The characters were so real!!! haha but real people play the roles of this fantastic movie.
Cinematography
I like all the lights!!!! The use of lighting is fabulous and I really do think that this movie depict it superbly. Action-packed fighting! Though most of the times, there are guns to still keep within the boundaries of war. I like this director as he doesn't want to stray too much away from the reality of this world yet keeping the futuristic science-fiction story alive.
Personal thoughts
For my brothers personally, they absolutely hate it because they want more answers to the story. What happened to this and why was it like that....where did it come from???? I am like....er.....I look at this movie from a bigger picture and even though some events are unexplainable, I focus on what the director is trying to convey from within the story.
Stop being so literal...rarrr! But anyway, if you want to understand this movie, you need to read this on a larger scale. Or else, this may not be the movie for you. In the end, it is a really moving movie and I wish that more movie directors are able to breach more into such issues that will hopefully not upset a wider audience. But, the audience would still understand the very meaning of it and practice healthier choices.
