Homework segment: Report on rare and delicious Udon recipes
Yum! The thin beef is laid on top of the Udon and the boiling soup is poured over it...it starts to brown and it is ready to eat! The key part of this dish is the flavoursome soup! I want to get my hands on it!
Close up!!! Looks good~ though I am not sure if mixing two distinctive flavours such as miso (fermented bean soup) and tomato & cheese will clash. East meets West....どうも!
Foot notes:
Shabu Shabu - literal translation for 'swish swish' is just like a hot pot and raw thinly sliced meat/vegetables are dipped into the hot pot to cook and then dipped into sauces to be eaten.
