Fun texture desserts!!

I totally envy all the delicious food that Japan has! From stalls to cafes and restaurants, they always have something interesting to offer. Since I am a sweet tooth, here is another post on Arashi no Shukudai kun's desserts with different textures.

Homework: To investigate sweets with a fun texture!

Get ready for interesting layers! Read more to find out.

1. Chocolate Bread - 4 textures in one bite!

1st: Cocoa powder covering the entire bread
2nd: Sticky chocolate danish texture
3rd: Chocolate cream
4th: Crispy chocolate bar

Chocolate Cream~

2. Lemon Parfait

First!

L: Panna Cotta, R: Lemon grass jelly, Bottom: Lemon marmalade

Second!

Condensed milk mousse is added on top.

Third!

Lemon foam is placed inside liquid nitrogen to be frozen and then topped on.

Last! Lemon zest is used for garnishing. This dish overflows with liquid nitrogen!! NOW this is what I want to try!!!

3. Cold Strawberries Kakiage is just fresh strawberries mixed in strawberry jam and dropped into liquid nitrogen to freeze instantly - refer back to the first picture of this post.

Foot notes:

  • Panna Cotta - cream, milk, sugar and gelatin simmered together (like milky pudding with very soft jelly-like texture)
  • Kakiage - anything dipped in batter and deep-fried
