魔法生活王 - jelly drinks

I can't tell you how much I drink Pearl Milk Tea time and time again!! This is the perfect opportunity for me to make such a drink!!

There was a recipe for using marshmallows to make a type of sticky sweet/ice-cream dessert but I don't think it works well....and therefore, managed to throw the piece of paper where I wrote my recipe into the garbage! Aww!

If you like jelly in your drink then here is an easy way to help you to make one at home without having to pay $5 for a drink! Jump under the cut.

Ingredients:
Juice - 4 Tbsp
Agar Agar Powder - half Tbsp

Equipment:
Bottle for juice storage
Big Tub of Ice cubes + Water + Salt

Bottle of 350- 600ml of clear juice works really well; whatever you prefer. The ingredients: juice and agar agar powder are scooped into a bowl and microwaved for 1 minute. It comes out of the microwave a little gooey. But that is ok, because once you pour the gooey mixture into the bottle of juice, it starts to coagulate and become cloudy little bits of jelly haha. SHAKE IT vigorously, and do a little shake dance.

Make sure that the tub of ice cubes +water with salt is prepared (salt lowers the temperature of the ice). Then, in the tub, place the bottle and keep on twisting and turning in the tub vigorously again. This is so that the jelly solidifies a lot more as room temperature juice will do no good, plus you will chill the drink so it works well for both the juice and the jelly.

Then you can serve it up!!

Friday night's program was just about how to get instantly cold ice; especially at a party where you run out of ice so quickly. They used aluminum cups on and aluminum sheet-covered tray and it freezes within 15 minutes! Certainly quite fast...though we just used a small plastic bag and fill it up with water, and let it freeze for 2 hours or so and we get a huge block of ice!
