魔法生活王 (Magic King of Life) - Rid of Cockroaches!

HA!!! This time, the show have produced some really awesome tips on how to tackle cockroaches that can't seem to be found in the most obvious places in the house but the oddest places in your house!

I really hate anything that is 6-legged or 8-legged insects/spiders that moves in an untimely and "unfashionable" (a metaphor for gross) manner.

This is what the show recommend using:
ALCOHOL + sugar
SOAPY WATER and a type of fruit skin but I didn't really catch it because it only keeps them away and not kill or trap them haha.

Let's see if you can make out how alcohol and soapy water stop, hinder, distract, or kill a cockroach??? Read more to find out the answer!

1) Before the alcohol is all drunk, leave a little bit left in the bottle and add sugar. Tilt the bottle beside the wall of a place that roaches are commonly found around or in the house.
This is because roaches love alcohol and sweets so it will climb inside the tilted bottle and gets stuck. Then you can get rid of it by flushing it down the toilet lol. Works well hehe.

2) This idea uses soapy water and acts as a weapon against the cockroaches so you need to expose them with soapy water ~(with a spray bottle perhaps)
This is because for roaches, most people thought that they use their antennas to smell. But, in actual fact, the sense of smell comes from their body. The experiment on the show was definitely a success where roaches were brought in a glass container and gets squirted with soapy water. It started crawling up the sides of the container!! However, it was a little bit unclear as to whether they wiggle and die...or wiggle and lay still for some more...maybe you can find that out for me haha.

3) Using a type of dried-up fruit skin so that roaches will not appear, although I didn't catch the name. Hmm..its actually not the best form of method I would say, compared to the 2 above.

So there you have it. Hahaha were you surprised by the answer? Couldn't have been more clever right? Are there any other methods that you use to catch cockroaches instead of whacking them and bits of its body are left on the ground before it scurries frantically away?? Do share with me.

Current Mood: Relieved!!
