Return of the Legend Condor Heroes

OH WOW! I love this series!! It was orginially a novel and it became sooo popular in Asia that the tv series made for this keeps on getting amazing reviews; resulting in more remakes and adaptions!!!

History: JinYong is a chinese author who wrote the Condor Trilogy. Plenty of his other works are also adapted into television dramas enjoyed by every Asian.

We have the latest and the only version directed by the Chinese (CCTV) of the 2nd novel in the Condor Trilogy. Main actors are Huang Xiaoming - Yang Guo (楊過) & Liu Yifei - Xiaolongnü (小龍女).

Synopsis
Yang Guo is the orphaned son of Yang Kang (楊康) and Mu Nianci (穆念慈), both characters of the prequel The Legend of the Condor Heroes. He never knew his father and could barely remember his mother. But their legacy, especially his father's, made him an outsider in the Martial Arts World.

Xiaolongnü is a mysterious girl of unknown origin and whose past is slowly revealed in the plot.

Raised briefly by Guo Jing and Huang Rong, Yang Guo was later sent to train under the Quan Zhen Sect (All True Religion). Fleeing from bullying and abuse at Quanzhen School, he met Xiaolongnü of Ancient Tomb Sect (Gumu Pai), who became his teacher.

When they first met, Yang Guo was an impetuous and mischievous 14-year-old while Xiaolongnü was a cold, unemotional 18-year-old. After years of living and training martial arts together in the Ancient Tomb, they eventually fell in love with each other.

Thanks for your comment! My blog is not professional or anything. I just like investing my time into it...a bit too much hehe >< wish I have that much time to finish those dramas!

hahaha i do see that you have finished tons of dramas and not only that, games and music as well. that's so cool. mine's not professional as well but yours does look really well maintained with pictures and all. i wanted to put the pics too but was afraid of copyright and all the complicated stuff so no pics. you can see it's plain.
lol i have finished roch and in fact, watched this version twice now. loch, i watched repeatedly as well but understanding it is hard so waiting for subs now really impatiently.

hehe I made that list since 2004? hmm to be honest, there are plenty of websites that put up pictures just the ones on my blog. Just so as long as you give credit to the sources if it isn't yours...I learnt that later on.

Another thing: I guess I can actually post my stuff because it is not even sold in English subtitles. And it is made known to many more individuals. Plus, I would always like to get in touch with the Asian culture.

ohh, by the way, how do you give credit? as in what or howmust we write them cos i forgot to write the credit for a song for a vid i made and my song was copyright n all so had to change.
i know that i need to give credit but i don't know the proper way how. thanks so much for your help.

1st - it depends what songs you use, of course you will have to ask that person for permission or let him/her know in advance if they allow you to post their material online.

2nd - when you buy the cd, the short cut form would be to just add in the details of the copyright protection and say that you as the authour used the song for video/viewership purposes and that you are not exploiting it.

For example, the games that I play and the screenshots that I make are from games that I/brothers have bought, but I did not change the content. I just created reviews. Some people can be picky about you using their material for something else.

3rd - sometimes giving credit to someone who doesn't want to be credited is not the way to go. Similarly, they may not want you to use their resources on your blog, so respect their rules and avoid using that source.

4th - always state where you got your sources (ie. website link)

Hopefully that is good practice, but to be honest, I don't provide all the correct answers. This is what I have learnt to do as I start to become more familiar with blogging. Although it can be a pain! I am sure that somebody will start asking me to remove Kamen Rider Kiva...

wow it sounds so complicated>_<" well i got this song frm this site but i crop it you could say, edited some of it. so i still giv credit to the site right?
and also, i dl a vid frm veoh and jus used parts of it and all to mix it up and make an amv or somethin so who do i giv credit to? veoh or the one who uploaded the vid. lucky you replied so fast, hehe thanks so much for help.
haha i noticed you hav a lot of kamen rider and all, i didn't really watch that one much, justirisers i did though.

Your welcome :) Give credit to the person and put up the website link, but only if the person allows you to use his/her material, in which you may have to ask for permission before posting it up.

Give credit to the person who uploaded the file. So the person who made the video should get the credit.

I love Kamen Rider Kiva! That is the only one that I will put up, don't think that I can carry on making screencaps for another 51 eps. What is justirisers??

Unknown said...

thanks lots for your help. justirisers is another japanese drama involving robots and all. similar to sazer x and all, you can find it on veoh i think.

Phoebe said...

Oh really? Only Japanese drama with robots-kinda that I know of is Ultraman haha. Your welcome :) Hope you stop by more often!
